State exports to the UAE should be encouraged

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Under the recently concluded Free Trade Agreement between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to promote the state’s exports to the country, exporters will be briefed on the bulk of exports and the how exports can easily be made under the agreement.

A workshop is jointly organized by the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) and in collaboration with the Indore Management Association (IMA); Madhya Pradesh Textile Mills Association; Association of Industries, Madhya Pradesh; Federation of Madhya Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry; and the Malwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry here at the Marriott Hotel on March 14. The topic of the workshop is “Business Opportunities in Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF)”.

Akhilesh Rathi, Vice Chairman of Assocham, Madhya Pradesh State Development Council, said, “A lot of work is being done in the fields of textiles, footwear, sporting goods, leather, sports goods, engineering and pharmaceuticals in Madhya Pradesh and also in exports.In such a situation, in order to take full advantage of the free trade agreement and develop our business, this program is organized in which we will invite all leading industrialists and businessmen in the region who want to start their business in Dubai or UAE Businessmen will be supported by our organization to start their business in Dubai and their questions and problems will be solved.

The program will talk about business and investment opportunities in the UAE, and raise awareness about the benefits of free zones in the UAE. Apart from this, information on FDI rules in the UAE will be given to business people, in addition to information on how to set up their offices in the UAE.
